Inserts for a folder brochure

Tailoring brochure content with a pocket-style brochure and inserts

Considering a brochure that goes by the name pocket brochure, folder brochure, or pocket-folder brochure? This brochure style is great if your companies wants to "wow" prospects while also being able to customize the content inside.

This client, a corporate relocation firm, came to me for content for its pocket-style brochure, which would have several bound panels plus a series of inserts for various audiences and proposals.

The sample presented below shows two of the inserts as I laid them out and presented them to my client, as they weren't sure at the outset how best to present the information and asked for layout guidance.

Page two of the sample is my favorite, as it addresses two common complaints of target readers--complaints that disappear when working with my client:

  • That they (readers) are in the HR business, not in the relocation business
  • That it often takes up to 20 phone calls just to transfer a single employee
