Ghostwriting an ebook based on webinar content
In a different webinar-to-ebook example of content repurposing, I shared one part of a two-part ebook series I created based on a webinar. In that example, the ebook content mapped to the structure of the webinar.
In this "content repurposing" ebook I created for another client, I turned a webinar hosted by a member of my client's staff into a ghostwritten ebook--an ebook that in no way mapped to the structure of the webinar.

Special circumstances: Can I turn any webinar into one or more ebooks? Probably.
When the project manager assigned this ebook to me, she gave me a "topic" and a super-tight deadline. After digging in, I wasn't sure I could complete the project, because I would have had to disassemble the webinar, pull out and analyze each content point, and then figure out how to best use those points to speak on the given topic.
In other words, the webinar topic covered points A, B, C, D, E, F, and G, and each of those points also contained sub-points: A1, A2, A3, and so on. However, the topic of the ebook I was asked to write would have called for points A2, A6, B2, D2-8, and so on, and I would have had to support each those points with additional research. It took me a while to figure out the problem, which left me even less time to create the content.
Fortunately though, while perusing and parsing the transcription and slide deck, I noticed a number of similarly themed points within the webinar--points I knew I could use to construct an ebook around a new, different (though related) topic.
The project manager liked my idea, and I turned out this ghostwritten ebook in less than 12 hours. The content you see within is pretty much my "first draft," which will give you an idea of what you can expect from my "first draft" content.
Turn your webinar into an ebook--fast.
